Overview
Set off on an unforgettable journey into the heart of Puerto Rico’s most iconic natural wonder. Your adventure begins where you choose, with the option to meet your friendly local guide in your own vehicle or take advantage of our optional shuttle service, with pick-up available from San Juan (Plaza Loiza Cll. Corona), Carolina (Walgreens Ave. Fragoso), Luquillo (Walgreens), and Fajardo (Ralph’s Food Warehouse).
Once you arrive at El Yunque Forest, the real adventure begins. After a quick safety orientation and receiving your life vest, you’ll leave the ordinary behind along with anything you don’t want getting wet and step into a world of vibrant greenery, rushing waters, and untamed beauty.
As you hike along jungle trails, your guide will share fascinating stories, legends, and facts about this sacred forest from rare plants and wildlife to the cultural significance of El Yunque in Puerto Rican heritage.
After about 25 minutes of trekking, you’ll reach your first destination: a hidden natural pool tucked deep in the rainforest. Swing from ropes, jump from cliffs of varying heights, or simply soak in the cool, refreshing water.
But the adventure doesn’t end there. Continue your climb to a second, more secluded pool where nature turns into a playground. Here, you’ll slide down smooth volcanic rock into the water a favorite moment for many!
After enjoying both natural pools, you’ll make your way back down the trail to rinse off and celebrate your experience with complimentary snacks and good vibes.
Guests who select the San Juan / Carolina transportation option will also enjoy a stop at the famous Luquillo Kiosks, known for authentic Puerto Rican food, tropical drinks, and views of Luquillo Beach.

🌿This is an excursion through an off-the-beaten, muddy trail with water activities.
Be ready for adventure and to get wet! 💦

👕 What to Wear: Comfortable clothes that allow free movement — gym wear, swimwear, or quick-dry outfits are ideal.

👟 Footwear: Closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet. No sandals or flip-flops.

This experience involves moderate physical activity. Participants must be able to walk through mud, slippery rocks, and uneven terrain.
Due to the nature of this tour, all participants must meet the Safety and Limitation Requirements listed below.
No previous experience is required to join this activity.
Guests are responsible for informing the tour guide of any health issues or medical conditions prior to the start of the experience.

Guests with severe heart, respiratory, or nervous system conditions, or any other serious medical condition, cannot participate.

Participants must begin and end the tour with the guide.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children under 5 years old are not permitted to participate.

An optional shuttle from Carolina (Walgreens Ave. Fragoso), Luquillo (Walgreens), or Fajardo (Ralph’s Seafood Warehouse) is available at an additional cost, must be booked in advance, and is subject to availability. NOT AVAILABLE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR FOR PM TOURS.

🌦️ Weather Policy
This tour operates rain or shine, but safety is always our priority.
If weather conditions make the tour unsafe, UR Guide PR reserves the right to cancel the activity at any time.

• The option to reschedule
🎒 Personal Belongings
Guests are fully responsible for any belongings brought during the hike and water activities.
UR Guide PR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or unattended items during the tour.
🚫 Right of Admission
To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, our guides reserve the right to refuse or terminate participation if a guest:
• Appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Does not follow safety instructions
• Is disruptive to the group experience
⚠️ In these cases, the tour may be cancelled immediately and no refund will be issued.
📅 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand plans can change, so we offer flexible options when possible.

Guests will receive a full refund if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
🔄 Rescheduling
Guests may reschedule their tour with at least 24 hours notice, depending on availability.
⛔ Less than 24 Hours Notice
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
⚠️ Last-Minute Confirmations
If a booking is confirmed within 24 hours of the tour start time, it does not qualify for cancellation, refund, or rescheduling.
📍 All deadlines are based on the experience’s local Puerto Rico time.
⚠️ Safety Compliance
If a guest cannot meet the physical or "safety and Limitation requirements" of the activity on the day of the tour, participation may be denied.
In these situations, no refund or cancellation will be issued.
⏰ Arrival Policy
Guests must arrive within the meeting window provided in the instructions.
🚨 Guests arriving after the departure time will be considered a No-Show.

"No-shows" are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
